About uData Net

uData Net, formerly known as US Microtel and Datacquisition Technologies, is a Texas corporation formed in early 1999. uData Net, along with its predecessors, have been providing products and systems to collect metering data for utility companies since 1990. Our corporate office is located in Fort Worth, Texas. Our manufacturing facility is located in McAllen, Texas.

uData Net manufactures and markets a series of intelligent optical data probes that are specifically designed to be compatible with both handheld and laptop computers for programming and reading electric meters that employ ANSI C12.18, GE OPTOCOM™ and IEC1107 communication protocols.

These series of probes, well received by the utility industry, have established uData Net as a leading, quality manufacturer of high technology devices. We also offer a variety of accessories and programs to accompany the Optical Data probes.
